Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the cost?
A: We don’t normally give quotations over the phone. Your work is unique so you usually need to visit us and select the various options. Once you have an idea of what you want we can give you an estimate on the spot.
Q: How long does it take to get my framed piece back?
A: We try to complete all work inside 28 days. However, if you have a sudden or overlooked requirement, such as a special occasion or art exhibition we will make every effort to fit the work in.
Q: I’m not very good at choosing, will you help me select the best option?
A: You are in experienced and capable hands. We will guide your choice by asking questions about the value of the work and where it will be displayed. Our staff appreciate that the customer’s piece has to be shown to its best advantage and will take their time to achieve this.
Q: The picture fell off the wall, can you repair it?
A: Bringing the piece in to us for assessment will enable us to say whether it is repairable or not. If it is just the glass that is broken, we can replace that and fit new hangings on the back. Frame damage can be more difficult but not impossible, although plastic or composite frames are usually impossible to fix.
Q: My picture is subject to an insurance claim for damage, can you do a quotation for the work?
A: We are happy to provide a signed quotation for any piece of work offered to us.
Q: My painting is damaged, can it be restored?
A: Although we do not have in-house capability, we can put you in touch with experts who will look after the piece and bring it back to close to its original state.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We accept cash, most credit and debit cards and cheques.
Visa & Mastercard Accepted.
